again for your help. Hi Jeff, I see you are still struggling with this .zip file download problem. This sounds like you have two things going on here, first your "Confirm open after download" isn't working as it should. Second, it sounds like the file association for .zip files is corrupted in some manner.

Then fire up Outlook Express, and reset the newsgroup and try the download again. With luck it will complete the download. I'd also suggest that before doing it, you use the option in Tools/Options/Read and clear the checkmark for Get "xxx" Headers and let it see if it can download everything. Good luck.
